Two footprints are listed: 59"W x 50"H and 71"W x 58"H, both 12" deep, which takes hardbacks comfortably without swallowing the room. The 59" suits a study alcove or the space beside a chimney breast. The 71" fills a longer living room wall and holds a serious collection. Finishes include black, oak, brown and walnut. Choose by how the shelf will actually be used: a tall standing unit maximises storage per square foot of floor, a low horizontal case doubles as a surface for lamps and objects, glass doors keep dust off older books, and a wall-mounted design leaves the floor clear in a small room.

Is this solid wood or veneer?+
Every wooden bookshelf here is solid wood uprights and shelves, jointed not held by cam locks and dowels. There is no veneer, no MDF and no particle board anywhere in the build.
Do these come in more than one size?+
Most pieces in this collection come in several sizes, with exact dimensions and a price for each size on the product page. Measure the spot in your study or living room first, then check the largest dimension against it before you commit.
What should I check before placing an order?+
A tall solid wood unit is heavy. Check floor loading if it will hold a full run of books.
How will I know when my order ships?+
Production starts once you place the order. You get a tracking email the moment your piece leaves the workshop, and delivery is free worldwide.
What does the warranty cover?+
Every piece carries a 10 year structural warranty on the frame and joinery. Separate from that, you have 30 days to return it in full if it does not suit the room.
Will it need much upkeep?+
Dust with a soft cloth and condition the wood with a light coat of furniture oil once or twice a year. Solid wood wears in over time, and small marks can usually be buffed out.

Choosing a wooden bookshelf that fits
Depth decides what fits
Ten to twelve inches of shelf depth carries most hardcovers and framed photos. Deeper shelves swallow small objects and invite clutter piles instead of display.
Anchor anything tall
Any bookshelf above counter height should fix to the wall, full stop. Solid wood is heavier than flat pack, which makes the unit more stable in daily use and makes the anchor non-negotiable with kids around.
Leave shelves room to breathe
A shelf packed edge to edge reads as storage. Books at two thirds capacity with a few objects between reads as a room. Buy one shelf more than the books you own today.
The range, briefly
The designs run from tall standing to low horizontal and with glass doors pieces, all cut from the same solid stock.
