Rounded Cell-Form Bookshelf in Solid Hardwood

Rounded openings stack up the left side of this bookshelf like cells that have had every corner worn smooth. Two slim shelves reach out to the right and float clear of the mass, one carrying a framed print, one holding books. The frame swells where it turns and thins where it runs straight. Pale hardwood, with grain that wraps around each curve without a break.

The shape is cut and worked by hand from solid wood, then sanded through the curves until the edges feel continuous. There is no veneer skin and no printed grain anywhere on it. Because we start after you order, the pattern in your piece follows the boards we open for it. Photos go out at each stage of the build for you to approve.

Shipping is disassembled. The frame sections and the two side shelves are boxed separately, which lowers the risk of damage and keeps freight costs sensible.
