Wood Side Tables
Each piece here is a small slab top on a solid wood or sculptural base, cut and shaped by hand after your order is placed. Nothing is pre-built and stored. During the making, the workshop sends photographs of each stage so you can see how the base is being shaped and how the top is coming out.
Two footprints are listed: 14" square and 18" square, both 24" tall. That height sits level with most mattress tops, so either works as a bedside table. The 14" is the better choice in a narrow bedroom or squeezed beside an armchair. The 18" gives room for a lamp, a book and a glass together. Colours run black, oak, brown and walnut. The forms behave differently in a room: round tops are safer in a walkway with no corner to catch a hip, square tops line up neatly against a sofa arm, live edge versions bring the natural board outline to a small object, and a nesting pair lets you pull a second surface out only when guests arrive.

What maintenance does solid wood need?+
