A thick ring opens on one side and hooks down into a squared foot, landing somewhere between a letter and an arch. Three shelves cross the opening at different heights, one deep, one narrow, one running out past the frame on the right. The stock stays heavy all the way round with the edges eased rather than sharp. Broad walnut figure flows around the whole ring.

The ring is cut from solid wood and worked by hand, with the inside face sanded through the turn until it matches the outside. Nothing veneered, nothing printed. The piece is made after your order goes in, so the figure wrapping this ring came from the boards opened for it. Photographs of each stage reach you first for approval.
