Five slabs stack in a stepped wave, each one cantilevered past the level below so the whole piece leans out toward the room. The edges are left live, following the outline of the log rather than a straight rip cut. Grain runs pale gold across the shelf faces and drops into darker brown streaks at the curves, with small natural fissures still visible near the ends.
The waves are cut and shaped from solid hardwood, then blended by hand where one level meets the next. Nothing here is veneer over board, and no grain has been printed onto a surface. Work starts once your order is placed, so the streaks and knots come from the actual boards chosen for you. Progress photos are sent from the workshop at each stage, and nothing moves forward until you approve them.
Because the shelves cantilever, they travel as separate parts rather than as one assembled body. Packing them individually cuts the chance of a cracked edge and keeps freight cost lower. Assembly instructions are printed and packed in the crate, and the support team replies by email if anything looks unclear. Delivery is free worldwide, a tracking number is emailed at dispatch, and you have 30 days to return it.
