About this piece

The upper shelves branch up from a trunk that grows out of a low cabinet, and each branch curls at the tip so what sits on it cannot slide off. Nine shelves in all, five on one side and four on the other, none of them level with another. The base carries two plain drawer fronts under a flat top. The walnut is dark, with heavy swirl running through the trunk.

Every branch is cut and carved by hand from solid wood, and the drawer fronts come from the same stock so the figure carries down through the piece. No veneer anywhere, no printed grain. Because it is built after you order, the swirl through the trunk belongs to your boards. Stage photographs are sent for approval as the build moves along.

The cabinet, the trunk and the branch shelves travel as separate packages. Splitting the load protects the drawer fronts and lowers freight cost on a piece this size. Printed assembly instructions are packed in the crate, and email support is there if a bracket puzzles you. Free worldwide delivery with 30 days to return.

At each step we wait for your approval: only when you are happy do we move to the next stage, and the piece ships the same way. Until production starts, you can cancel at no cost.
