Wood Sideboards
A sideboard here is built from solid timber panels held together with mortise and tenon joints, doors and drawer boxes included. Nothing is veneered over a core. The piece is cut and assembled after your order, then hand finished before it is broken down for transport.
Cases run 59 and 63 inches wide, 30 inches high and 14 inches deep, shallow enough to pass behind dining chairs in use. Low profile designs sit under a window or a run of art. Glass fronted versions put glassware and ceramics on show. Open shelving suits records and books you reach for daily, while buffet height cases bring the top up to serving level. Tones on offer include black, brown, oak and walnut.
Think about where it will sit and how you will move it once built, since a solid timber carcass weighs noticeably more than a veneered one. Every wood sideboard here is built from solid timber panels joined by mortise and tenon, doors and drawers included. There is no veneer, no MDF and no particle board anywhere in the build.
Do these come in more than one size?+
Most pieces in this collection come in several sizes, with exact dimensions and a price for each size on the product page. Measure the spot in your dining room or living room first, then check the largest dimension against it before you commit.
What should I check before placing an order?+
A solid timber carcass is heavier than a veneer one, so plan the delivery route before you order.
How will I know when my order ships?+
Production starts once you place the order. You get a tracking email the moment your piece leaves the workshop, and delivery is free worldwide.
What does the warranty cover?+
Every piece carries a 10 year structural warranty on the frame and joinery. Separate from that, you have 30 days to return it in full if it does not suit the room.
Will it need much upkeep?+
Dust with a soft cloth and condition the wood with a light coat of furniture oil once or twice a year. Solid wood wears in over time, and small marks can usually be buffed out.

A sideboard around 32 to 36 inches tall serves comfortably from standing height and keeps a visual line with the dining table beside it.

Allow 36 inches between the sideboard front and the table chairs behind it, or serving becomes a squeeze past seated guests.
