Trunk-Form Desk with Branching Wall Shelf Column

A shelf column shaped like a young trunk stands against the wall and pushes two long shelves out to either side, thick where they meet the stem and tapering towards their ends. The desk sits in front with a bank of four drawers on the left, and on the right the top curves down to the floor and opens into two shelf slots. Dark walnut with a deep red cast.

The trunk column, the drawer bank and the curved return are all cut from solid hardwood and shaped by hand where the sections meet. There is no veneer and no printed pattern. Each desk is made after ordering, so the red in your walnut will run its own course.

Delivery comes in pieces. Shelf column, shelves, desk top, drawer bank and curved return are packed separately with padding between them.
