The desk turns through the corner with a soft angle rather than a square one, so the working edge curves toward the chair. On the left a cabinet of three flush drawers holds the top at full depth. On the right the load runs into a wide leg cut on a slant, one board tapering from the underside to the floor. The walnut is warm and heavily figured, with long swirls across the drawer fronts.

Cut from solid walnut boards and put together by hand. Drawer faces are laid out so the figure carries from one to the next, and none of it is veneer or printed pattern.
