Slab-Sided Three-Drawer Console Table in Solid Walnut

Two thick slabs stand as the sides and run straight to the floor, and the case bridges between them. Three drawers sit in a row under the top, each with a black bar pull, and one long shelf spans the full width below for books, boxes and a plant. The top is a single wide plane with a squared edge, and the walnut shows a mid brown ground with darker lines drifting through it. Seen from an angle the side slab reads as one solid piece of timber.

The slabs, the top, the shelf and the drawer fronts are solid wood taken from real boards. Nothing is a veneer face and no figure is printed on. Each console is made once your order arrives, so the grain layout is worked out for your piece and never repeated. The workshop sends photographs of the build at each stage and pauses for your approval.
