The dividers between them curve rather than stand square, so each opening takes a slightly different shape, from a tall rounded box to a wide arch. The outer frame has generous radiused corners and the top is flat and unbroken. Walnut figure sweeps across the face in long grey brown waves and turns almost black inside the deeper boxes.
