About this piece

One slim pedestal twists up from a low rounded foot in a tight S, thinning at the waist and flaring again where it meets the top. Everything else stays quiet. The top is a straight rectangular plank with a soft rounded edge and no visible hardware, and it extends well past the pedestal to the right, leaving a long clear stretch for candles or a pile of post. Grain in the twist bunches and stretches with the curve, mid brown warming toward gold on the raised faces.

The pedestal is carved from real solid wood in one piece, not laminated and not skinned in a printed veneer. Files and scrapers do the last of the work, so the curve stays fair from every side. Yours is started after you order, which means the grain wrapping your S will not match this one exactly.

It arrives disassembled, top and pedestal wrapped and boxed separately, which protects the narrow waist and trims the freight bill. Printed assembly instructions travel in the carton, with email support behind them. Free worldwide delivery and 30-day returns.
