Branchform Bookshelf, Carved from One Walnut Slab

This bookshelf climbs the wall like a limb lifted straight out of a trunk. The walnut runs red and amber through every curve, and each arm tapers to a point instead of a square cut. Two long shelves reach out from the main body, one at chest height with a live edge, one sitting low on a carved foot. The gaps between the arms hold pottery, framed prints or a short stack of books.

The whole form is cut and shaped from solid hardwood, so the curves are carved rather than bent or moulded. No veneer, no printed grain. Our workshop starts your piece after the order comes in, and we send photos at each stage for you to approve before we carry on. The figure in your wood follows its own path, so no two of these end up the same.

It ships as separate carved sections. The long arms travel protected that way and the crate stays compact, which keeps the freight cost down. Printed assembly instructions sit inside the box and our team answers questions by email if a step is unclear.
