About this piece
Five rounded frames stack one on top of the other to make this bookcase, each one softened at the corners so the whole column looks poured rather than cut. Oval holes pierce the side walls, letting you see through the piece from the room. Books, a bowl and a pair of pale vases sit on the flat shelves between the frames. The walnut is a warm mid brown with straight figure on the uprights.
Each frame is carved from solid timber and sanded until the edges feel round in the hand. Nothing is veneered and nothing is printed. Since we only begin after your order comes through, the boards used are picked for that build, and their figure will not repeat on another bookcase. We photograph the work as it goes and wait for your nod before continuing.
The frames ship separately, wrapped one at a time. Splitting the piece like that protects the carved edges and keeps the crate down to a size that holds freight costs in check. Printed assembly instructions are inside the box, with email support behind them. Shipping is free worldwide and you have 30 days to return.
