The side panels wave in and out like a length of ribbon standing on edge, and between them one shelf splits the interior into an upper and a lower compartment. The upper one is shallow enough for a couple of books and a bowl, the lower one deep enough for larger pieces. Corners are all rounded, the top is flat with an eased nose, and the walnut runs from honey at the top face to near black inside the openings.
Each panel is cut from solid walnut, curved by hand and then blended into the top and shelf so the joins disappear into the shape. No veneer, no printed grain, no filler. The table is only started once your order is placed, so the pattern across the front is drawn from the specific boards used for you.
The piece is packed as separate components rather than one heavy body. Individual wrapping means less risk on the road and a smaller freight charge.
