Closed Loop Console Table Carved as One Ribbon

The whole table is one closed loop. It leaves the floor at the left, curls up and over to form the top surface, drops down the right side and returns along the bottom as a broad shelf, enclosing a long open window in the middle. Books and candles can sit on the upper face while the lower run holds more inside the loop. Grain sweeps around the turn without a break, warm brown deepening to near black where the curve rolls away from the light.

It is carved from real solid wood, not bent plywood or a veneered shell, and the tone you see is the timber under oil rather than a printed effect. The loop is shaped in sections that are joined and then worked back by hand until the line reads as one. Made to order, so your figure is yours.
