About this piece

Two colours share this top. Pale sapwood runs along one edge and across the ends while dark heartwood pools through the middle, and the live edge keeps the natural line of the log all the way around the oval. It stands on two chunky rounded blocks of the same timber.

The slab is built from solid wood sections joined so the natural edges stay intact, then sanded smooth and sealed with a clear finish that deepens the contrast between the two tones. The legs are cut from the same stock. Every table is produced against the order it belongs to.

Top and legs travel apart in heavy protective wrap, which keeps the live edges from chipping and holds the shipping cost down. Refitting the legs takes a few minutes with the bolts and instructions included. Our team will answer if something does not seat properly.
