Stacked Tier Coffee Table with a Hidden Plinth Base

Two thick tiers, and a band of shadow between them. The upper surface appears to float because the column carrying it sits well inside the footprint, out of sight from a seated view. Both tiers keep their soft, wandering edges, and the dark stripes in the grain line up as one long run from the front of the table to the back.

Each tier is made from solid wood blocks joined into a single thick panel, then levelled and shaped so the outer edge follows the natural line rather than a ruler. Surfaces are sanded through fine grits and sealed with an oil based finish that deepens the figure slightly and leaves the wood open to the touch.

Production starts once you order, so size and finish are chosen for your room. The tiers and the plinth ship separately, which protects the corners and keeps shipping costs down. Fixings and instructions come in the box, assembly is a matter of stacking and tightening, and our team is on hand if anything looks off when you open it.
