About this piece

The base is one unbroken loop of wood, twisting up from the floor, curling through itself and opening into a clean circular void before it meets the underside of the top. Above it sits a thin oval in deep reddish brown, the grain running the long way so the piece looks like it is leaning into a turn.

Solid wood blocks are laminated into a single mass before the loop is carved out of it, which is why the curve never breaks across a joint. The surface is worked to a low sheen that leaves the real figure visible rather than burying it under colour. Everything is built to order.

Because of the shape, the top and the sculpted base leave the workshop separately and arrive well padded, which protects the curve and keeps shipping costs sane. Joining them is a single fixing step, covered in the guide that ships with the piece, and our team will stay with you over email if you want a hand.

Your piece is built for your order, and you stay in control the whole way. We send you photo updates at every stage of the build, from the first cut to the final finish. At each step we wait for your approval: only when you are happy do we move to the next stage, and the piece ships the same way. Until production starts, you can cancel at no cost.

How is it delivered?+

Delivery is free worldwide, with tracking emailed the moment it ships. Assembly is simple, with clear instructions and hardware included. If you ever get stuck, write to hello@burlholt.com and our team walks you through it step by step.

Can I return it?+

Yes. 30 days, honored in full. If it isn’t right, write to us and we make the return simple, with home collection available for oversized pieces.

Built by hand in our Southeast-Asia workshop from solid hardwood, then finished to order.

Dust with a soft cloth and condition the wood with a light coat of furniture oil once or twice a year.
