About this piece
Guests tend to touch this one before they sit down. The top is pale and heavily figured, with a knotted live edge on the long side and a dark hollow left open where the tree healed around a break. It balances on two carved pedestals that loop back on themselves, lifting the surface without crowding the floor.
Blocks of solid wood are joined into a thick panel for the top, then the raw edge is cleaned and stabilised so it holds its shape. Each pedestal is carved from heavy stock and worked until the loop reads smooth from every angle. Fine sanding and a hand applied finish keep the surface silky and the colour natural.
Because it is made for the order, you choose the footprint that suits your seating. The top and both pedestals ship as separate items, protecting the carved loops and keeping the freight sensible. Everything needed for assembly is in the box with a photo guide. Tell us if something does not line up and we will fix it with you.
