It is made from solid wood blocks joined into one body, then carved so the arches read as scooped hollows rather than sawn holes. The finish is kept thin, which lets the figure stay loud: deep swirling grain across the top face, dark ribbons wrapping over the rolled edge and down the side. The pattern changes from table to table.
