About this piece
Seen from the side it reads as one hollow rectangle. A deep opening runs straight through the middle, wide enough for stacked art books, a bowl of keys and whatever else you want in plain view instead of in a drawer.
Thick solid wood sections are glued into a single mass before the inner opening is cut and shaped by hand. Along the top front the natural edge of the timber has been kept, so the raw contour of the tree meets a surface polished smooth enough to slide a glass across. The finish is clear, applied thin, and leaves the figure fully readable.
Nothing is pre built here. Yours begins once the order comes in. Panels leave the workshop separated and cushioned, a safer way to travel and a lighter shipment to pay for. Assembly means joining the marked sections with the fittings supplied, and written steps ride along in the box. Write to us if anything reads unclear.
