About this piece

Picture a single plank folded a few times and set down on the floor. That is the shape here. Angled planes run from the top surface, down through a shelf, and out to a foot that touches the ground at a slant. Honey coloured grain runs unbroken across each fold.

The facets are cut from solid wood panels made of joined blocks, mitred so the grain continues around every corner. Surfaces are levelled by hand and given a clear finish that keeps the timber warm rather than glossy. Production starts when your order comes in, not before.

The piece leaves us in flat sections, which protects the sharp mitres and keeps the freight fair for a table of this footprint. Assembly is a short job with the supplied fixings and the printed diagram. We are happy to talk it through if the angles confuse you.
