About this piece

A wide slab with natural uneven edges is pierced by three large oval openings and one small round hole. Through each opening the wall shows, and the rims are softened so the voids look worn by water.

The openings are carved by hand through solid hardwood and sanded smooth inside and out. A matte finish brings out the deep brown grain around each hole. It is made to order, and we send photos as the slab is shaped.

Against a pale wall the cutouts become part of the composition. The slab ships crated and padded with mounting hardware and a printed guide, and our team is available by email. We send the wooden slab wall art with carved oval openings free to any country and accept returns within 30 days.
