About this piece

Tall leaf shaped blades rise and overlap like a flame, and a warm light set behind them spills a soft glow onto the wall. The carved wood stays the focus by day, and in the evening the halo turns it into ambient lighting for a corner or hallway.

The leaves are carved by hand from solid hardwood and sanded smooth along each curve, then finished to a low sheen. The piece is made to order, and the workshop sends photos as it takes shape.

Place it where a gentle wash of light helps: beside a bed, along a corridor or next to a reading chair. It ships crated with padding and printed instructions.
