About this piece

Quiet is the whole point. A plain rectangular top, a base that folds under itself in one smooth scroll, and no visible hardware, no glass, no metal anywhere on the piece. It gives a busy room something to settle against.

The top is a slab of joined solid wood with burl clusters gathered at both ends, planed flat and finished so the figure comes forward under lamplight. The scrolled base is shaped from the same timber and sanded through fine grits until the curve runs unbroken beneath your hand.

Because every table is cut to order, no two of them carry the same figure. Yours arrives in separate braced sections, a choice that avoids damage in transit and trims the freight you pay for. Fitting the top to the base uses the supplied hardware and a single page guide. If it feels tricky, the workshop will talk you through it.

At each step we wait for your approval: only when you are happy do we move to the next stage, and the piece ships the same way. Until production starts, you can cancel at no cost.

Delivery is free worldwide, with tracking emailed the moment it ships. Assembly is simple, with clear instructions and hardware included. If you ever get stuck, write to hello@burlholt.com and our team walks you through it step by step.
