About this piece

A long closed cabinet with dramatically swirling grain on its fronts rests on a low base that ripples like a wave beneath it. The base gives the heavy case a light, lifted look.

We build the cabinet from solid hardwood, selecting boards for their figure, and carve the wave base by hand. A matte finish lets the swirls read strongly. Work on the swirl grain TV stand on a flowing wave base begins after purchase, and you receive photos from the bench at each main stage.

At each step we wait for your approval: only when you are happy do we move to the next stage, and the piece ships the same way. Until production starts, you can cancel at no cost.
