About this piece

Soft corners all the way around. The case is radiused at every edge, with an open center shelf sized for a player and a short stack of books, and two wide drawers below wearing long brass bar pulls that stretch most of the width.

Solid wood blocks are joined into panels first, then the corners are shaped so the grain wraps the curve without a visible break. The finish sits close to the surface, which is why the color shifts and the ripple in the boards stay easy to see. Each cabinet is cut and built once your order is placed.

The unit reaches you unassembled. Panels, drawers and plinth ship as flat components, which lowers freight and keeps those soft corners from taking a knock. The steps are short, the tools are ordinary, and our workshop replies if you get stuck partway.
