About this piece
Seen from the side, one end of this console rolls under like a wave about to close. That rolled panel is solid timber taken all the way round the corner, and it frames an open display bay. Two wide drawers sit centre with cut finger slots, an open shelf above them holds a player and books, and the base rail below is cut into a slow wave that keeps the underside from looking flat.
Everything begins as solid wood blocks joined into panels, then the curve is shaped and refined until the surface reads as one uninterrupted sweep. The grain is left visible under an open finish, so the streaks and colour changes in the boards stay part of the design. We build only after an order lands, which is why the figure differs piece to piece.
Delivery is flat packed. Shipping the curve as a separate component stops it arriving with a bruise and keeps the freight far cheaper than a fully built cabinet. Hardware, labelled parts and a drawn assembly guide are all in the box. If something does not line up, our team will get you sorted.
