About this piece

A single wave runs the whole length here. It rises into a tall arch at one end, dips almost to the floor at the middle, then lifts again to close the far side. The flat top holds books and crystal. The wave itself makes the openings: one for a framed map, one for an amplifier, one for more books.

Solid wood blocks are joined into deep laminations, then shaped until the wave passes through the piece as one gesture with no visible break. The surface is worked back far enough for the figure to show through clearly, including the ripple that walnut throws where the curve turns. Each console is made after ordering.

Shipping happens in flat components. A long curved body would be at real risk in transit and expensive to send whole, so we send parts and let you close the last step. Fittings are pre-set, the manual is picture led, and our team answers quickly if you would rather have help.

Your piece is built for your order, and you stay in control the whole way. We send you photo updates at every stage of the build, from the first cut to the final finish. At each step we wait for your approval: only when you are happy do we move to the next stage, and the piece ships the same way. Until production starts, you can cancel at no cost.
