Racetrack Loop TV Console with Four Drawers and Center Shelf

Four drawers, one open centre bay, and a frame that never breaks stride from one end to the other. The loop rises off the floor, arcs over the top and comes back down, and the drawer banks sit inside it like they were slotted in afterwards. From an angle the whole thing reads as a single closed shape.

Matching that shape to one run of timber is deliberate. Boards from the same stock are laminated into blocks, shaped into the radius, then the drawer fronts are cut in sequence so the figure moves across all four faces in order. Drawers are fitted by hand until they run smoothly without hardware on the face. The oil finish is worked in and polished back, leaving the surface soft to touch and the grain fully open to the eye. Production begins when your order does.

The console ships apart. The two curved ends, the drawer banks and the shelves travel as protected flat components, which keeps corners intact and freight sensible. Putting it back together is straightforward with the fittings and step by step guide supplied, and takes an evening at most. Our workshop responds directly if a drawer runner needs fine tuning.
