Moonlit Campsite Held in a Round Wood Wall Relief

Hang this over a bed and the room settles. A crescent moon and a scatter of stars stand proud of the surface, hills fall away beneath them, three pines lean in from the left, and a small tent waits near the middle of it all. The whole scene sits inside a raised circular rim, like looking through a porthole at a night you already remember.

The circle is built from solid wood blocks joined into one round blank, then carved in layers so the hills sit at different depths and the tent catches light on its own facets. The moon and every star are cut individually and lift above the sky plane. A hand rubbed finish keeps the surface warm and lets the natural figure of the wood run right through the landscape. Carving starts once your order is placed.

Round pieces travel with their parts separated and cushioned so nothing knocks against a carved star along the way.
