Low, long and almost liquid. The top runs level along the wall, then curls under itself at one end into an open shelf, while the far end lands on a wide arch with room for books beneath. Sandals tuck under the curl. A woven basket slides into the span. Nothing about it sits square.
A curve this deep needs mass behind it, so the piece is built from solid wood blocks bonded into heavy sections and then carved down to the sweep you see. The surface is finished thin, which is why the grain keeps running around the bends instead of stopping at a seam. Each one is made to order.
