About this piece

Four curved bays are cut into a rounded body, and the walls between them bow outward so each opening reads as a petal instead of a square. Books lean in the outer bays, ceramics sit in the inner ones. The whole cabinet rests on a recessed plinth, which keeps the base in shadow and the mass floating.

The carcass is made of solid wood blocks glued into slabs, then shaped so every internal curve is worked from real material rather than bent sheet. The finish stays light on the surface, letting the wide flame grain across the front and the darker streaks along the sides show as they are. Made to order.

It reaches you disassembled. Panels packed flat travel far better than a shaped box, and the saving shows in the shipping. Everything is pre-drilled, the printed steps are numbered, and no specialist tools are needed. If a stage feels awkward, our team will guide you through it.

Your piece is built for your order, and you stay in control the whole way. We send you photo updates at every stage of the build, from the first cut to the final finish. At each step we wait for your approval: only when you are happy do we move to the next stage, and the piece ships the same way. Until production starts, you can cancel at no cost.

Delivery is free worldwide, with tracking emailed the moment it ships. Assembly is simple, with clear instructions and hardware included. If you ever get stuck, write to hello@burlholt.com and our team walks you through it step by step.
