About this piece

One closed loop does all the work here. The wood runs down, along the floor and back up in a single oval, and three drawers hang inside that frame. The result looks like the console is resting on the floor rather than standing on it.

The loop is made from solid wood laminated in blocks and shaped to hold its curve, joined so the grain keeps travelling around the bend without interruption. The drawer boxes are solid as well. Surfaces are finished to show the wood rather than to coat it, and the piece is built to order.

You receive it in pieces. The loop, the drawer unit and the fittings are packed apart, which protects the curved faces and cuts the shipping bill. The drawer block drops into the loop and bolts on from inside. Instructions are enclosed, and help is available whenever you need it.

At each step we wait for your approval: only when you are happy do we move to the next stage, and the piece ships the same way. Until production starts, you can cancel at no cost.
