Round Coffee Tables

Round tops soften a seating area in a way square ones cannot. Nothing juts into a walkway, and people can gather on all sides. Every top here is cut from solid hardwood and shaped by hand, so the growth rings run in circles you can follow with a finger.

Four widths are made: 32, 41, 47 and 53 inches. Measure the gap between your sofa and the nearest chair, then take about half of it. A 32 inch top suits a two seater or a small apartment. The 47 and 53 inch tops are for sectionals and open rooms where the table has to reach several seats at once. The bases differ more than the tops do. Plank legs give an open look underneath, drum bases read as one solid mass, and arch cut bases sit between the two.

One thing worth knowing before you order: a wide round top moves a few millimetres across the seasons as humidity changes, which is normal in solid timber and not a fault.
