On the right the top does not stop at the corner. It bends over the end and falls to the floor in one continuous curve, the grain following the bend so the leg reads as an extension of the surface rather than a separate part. The left side is carried by a three drawer pedestal with a slim panel behind it. Figure across the top runs in bold stripes of tan and near black, and the striping continues down the curved leg.
The bend is worked from solid timber and shaped by hand until the curve is fair from every angle. There is no veneer here and no printed grain, so the striping on the leg is the wood itself carrying on. Drawer fronts are cut in sequence and fitted one by one. We build after the order arrives, so the pattern on your top and leg is chosen for your desk alone. Photos are sent at each stage for your approval.
It travels knocked down. Top and curved leg, pedestal and back panel are packed apart, which protects the curve and keeps shipping lower than one large crate. Printed assembly instructions are packed alongside, and our team replies by email if a step needs explaining.
