About this piece

This desk hangs off the wall with no legs under it. The front edge is left live, waving in and out with pale sapwood showing along the line, and the surface runs in strong stripes of copper and dark brown. Two drawers sit below the top, spaced apart rather than side by side, each with a shallow scoop cut into the front for a handle.

The top and the drawer boxes are solid wood, cut from real boards and hand finished. No veneer sheet, no printed grain, and the live edge is the actual edge of the board rather than a shaped copy. Each desk is made after your order, so the sapwood line across your front is yours alone. We send photos from the workshop at each stage for you to approve.

It ships flat and in pieces, with the top and the drawer units packed separately so the live edge is not taking pressure in transit. Smaller parcels also keep the freight cost down. Printed instructions for putting it together are packed in the box, and our team answers by email if a step is confusing. Free worldwide delivery, tracking emailed at dispatch, 30 day returns.

Your piece is built for your order, and you stay in control the whole way. We send you photo updates at every stage of the build, from the first cut to the final finish. At each step we wait for your approval: only when you are happy do we move to the next stage, and the piece ships the same way. Until production starts, you can cancel at no cost.

How is it delivered?+

Delivery is free worldwide, with tracking emailed the moment it ships. Assembly is simple, with clear instructions and hardware included. If you ever get stuck, write to hello@burlholt.com and our team walks you through it step by step.

Can I return it?+
