About this piece

About this piece
This teak shower bench is built from a naturally water-resistant hardwood, not the same walnut used on the dry-room pieces. It reads as understated, built for a room that already has enough going on.

Design Details

  • Its defining detail: rustic bathroom seating.
  • Available in a freestanding stool version.
  • Available in a wall-mounted fold-down version.
  • Available in a bench with shelf version.
  • Grain and figure vary piece to piece, since each comes from its own section of timber.

Material and Craft

  • Built from a naturally water-resistant hardwood, not the same walnut used on the dry-room pieces.
  • Solid timber throughout, not a veneer skin over an engineered core.
  • Finished matte, not high-gloss, so grain and tool marks stay visible.
  • This is the one collection here that is not walnut. A wet shower calls for a naturally rot-resistant species instead.

Where It Fits

  • Teak Shower Bench for a walk-in shower.
