Slim Floating Desk in Solid Walnut with Two Drawers

Set into a corner, this walnut desk is a shallow box carried on the wall with clear space underneath. The top overhangs the drawer front by a finger width, which keeps the profile looking thinner than it is. Two drawers fill the lower half, each opened by a slot routed along the top edge so no hardware breaks the surface. Ribbon figure runs the length of the fronts in bands of caramel and dark cocoa.

This is solid walnut, cut and joined in the workshop, not a pattern pressed onto board. The case is squared by hand, the drawer runs are fitted one at a time, and the surface is sanded through fine grits before finishing. Nothing is built until your order is placed, so the pattern across your drawer fronts comes from the boards chosen for you. Stage photos are sent for your approval as the piece takes shape.

The desk ships disassembled. Top, case and wall bracket are wrapped and boxed separately, which protects the corners and keeps the freight charge lower.
