Petalfall Wood Wall Sculpture in Swirled Walnut

Everything here points at one small dark circle near the middle. Broad petals of wood curl out of it in a slow spiral, the innermost layers wrapped tight like paper, the outer ones opening into wide scooped hollows that catch light along their lips. The effect is closer to fabric caught mid turn than to anything cut from a tree.

It is carved from solid hardwood, several blocks joined into one panel and then shaped as a single form so each curl carries on across the seam. The surface is worked back to reveal the real grain, so the ripples in the timber run with the sculpted curves rather than against them. Nothing is stamped or pressed. Each one is made after you order it, by hand.

Because the piece is wide, it ships in sections rather than as one unwieldy slab. That protects the carved edges in transit and keeps freight from becoming its own problem.
