Two panels sit side by side. The left one reads as a run of wind shaped dunes, carved in long horizontal ridges that catch light along every crest. The right one holds a full palm, each frond split into separate blades, with coconuts and small stones gathered at the base of the trunk. Read together they make one shoreline that runs the width of the wall.
Both panels begin as solid blocks of wood joined edge to edge, then carved down until the scene stands out in real depth rather than printed shadow. The surface is finished so the natural figure of the timber stays visible, which is why the dunes on the left move like water. Every piece is made to order, so the grain pattern that lands on your wall belongs to your panel alone.
The set arrives disassembled. Shipping the panels separately protects the carved edges in transit and keeps freight sensible on a piece this wide.
