Layered Pine Forest Wall Art, Carved to Order in Solid Wood

Depth is the point of this one. Pines stand in several ranks across the panel, the nearest ones cut with every branch separated, the ones behind flattening as they recede, and beyond them a ridge of peaks rises with snow gullies carved into the rock. Side light turns the front row into long shadows on the trees behind.

The panel is assembled from solid wood blocks joined into a wide field, then carved at different levels so each layer of forest sits at its own height. Finishing keeps the timber honest, with the pale sapwood ending up in the peaks and the darker heartwood down in the valley. Yours is carved after you order, so the split between light and dark wood will be its own.

Expect the panel disassembled when it reaches you. The fine branch tips carve very thin, and packing the sections separately is what keeps them intact while also keeping freight sensible on a wide piece.
