L-Shaped Corner Desk with Open Shelf Storage Bay

This desk turns a corner. The right half is a thick slab with a wandering live edge along the front, pale gold through the middle and streaked with charcoal where the grain runs dark. It sits on one wide pedestal cut in the same soft waves as the top. The left half squares off into a cabinet with two open bays, deep enough for stacked books and a small vessel. From the front the two halves read as one piece, one side flowing and one side straight.

Both halves are built from real solid wood. No veneer sheet, no printed grain, no filler standing in for figure. The waves in the leg were shaped by hand until the curve matched the edge above it. Each desk is made to order after you buy, so the board that becomes your top has its own pattern of dark streaks and knots.

It ships disassembled. The cabinet, the top and the pedestal travel as separate packed parts, which lowers the risk of damage in transit and keeps freight cost down.
