Assembly & Care

Assembly. Each piece ships in parts for safe transit and assembles easily, with clear instructions and the hardware included.

Care. Dust weekly with a soft dry cloth. Once or twice a year, wipe on a thin coat of furniture oil and buff off the excess. Wipe spills promptly. Avoid silicone sprays and supermarket polishes.

Placement. Keep the piece away from active heating vents and constant direct sun, in a room with reasonably stable humidity. Full care guide

Shipping & Return

Shipping. Free on every order, worldwide. Estimated delivery is 12 to 17 business days: 7 to 10 to prepare your piece and 5 to 7 in transit. Orders placed after 5:00 PM PST are processed the next business day. Tracking is emailed within 1 to 2 business days of dispatch.

Changes. To change or cancel an order, email hello@burlholt.com within 6 hours of placing it.

Returns. Return an unused piece within 30 days of delivery, in its original condition and packaging with all hardware. We cover return shipping for items that are defective, damaged in transit or incorrect. Custom or personalized pieces cannot be returned. Approved refunds are processed within 2 business days of inspection.

About this piece

The top sweeps in a shallow arc from a squared left end to a rolled right end that drops to the floor and turns back into two low shelves. Above the desk a shelf unit floats on the wall in two tiers, with open box compartments cut into it. A separate three-drawer cabinet slides under the left side. The walnut is heavily figured, close to black where the light drops away.

Desk, wall unit and drawer cabinet are all solid hardwood, sawn from real boards and finished to show the figure rather than hide it. Nothing is veneered or printed. Yours is made after the order comes in, so the dark ripples will sit differently across your top.

Everything travels disassembled, each piece wrapped on its own, top, curved end, shelf unit and drawer cabinet. That keeps the long arc from taking a knock and reduces what the freight costs. Printed assembly instructions are packed in the crate, and email support is available while you put it together. Free worldwide delivery, returns within 30 days.
