Ember Crest Walnut Wall Sculpture with Coiled Tail

Thin tapered tips gather into wide ribbons, then roll into a large round coil where two teardrop openings sit inside the wood. Solid walnut blocks are joined before any carving starts, which is how a sweep this wide holds one unbroken line. The shaping is done by hand and the surface is worked back to a low sheen so the grain stays visible instead of disappearing under gloss. Nothing here is printed or veneered. Each piece is carved after the order comes in, so the figure in your wood belongs to yours alone.
