Double Wave Base Desk in Solid Walnut Hardwood

Under this desk the base runs as one long wave, a walnut ribbon that dips to the floor, rises, and dips again beneath the top. On the left a cabinet with two drawers and slim recessed pulls fills the space under the slab. The top is a plain rectangle with a slightly softened front edge, and the walnut sits in warm mid brown with darker lines through it.

All of it is solid wood, cut and shaped by hand. The wave is worked from thick stock and finished so that the grain follows the curve rather than fighting it. No veneer, no printed pattern. We begin after your order arrives, which is why the marks in your top belong to your desk only. Stage photographs are sent from the bench for your approval as the work moves.

It is shipped taken apart. Top, wave base and drawer cabinet are packed as separate parcels so the long curve is not carrying the weight of everything else, and the freight stays lower.
