About this piece

A bedroom wall usually needs one thing to look at, not five. This tall panel does that job: a slow swirl of carved wood folds in on itself, and a single teardrop opening cuts right through to the bare wall behind. From the bed it reads as one calm gesture rather than a busy pattern.

It is built from solid walnut blocks joined into one body, then carved down by hand until the folds turn without any visible break. Sanding and sealing leave the true grain visible, so the darker streaks run through the crests exactly where the tree put them. Each panel is made after you order it.

The piece is shipped disassembled to keep the carved lips from knocking about in transit and to hold the freight down. Assembly needs no special skill, just the included hardware and the printed steps, and our team can guide you if a section resists. Hang it above a headboard or on the wall you face when you wake.
