Assembly & Care

Assembly. Each piece ships in parts for safe transit and assembles easily, with clear instructions and the hardware included.

Care. Dust weekly with a soft dry cloth. Once or twice a year, wipe on a thin coat of furniture oil and buff off the excess. Wipe spills promptly. Avoid silicone sprays and supermarket polishes.

Placement. Keep the piece away from active heating vents and constant direct sun, in a room with reasonably stable humidity. Full care guide

Shipping & Return

Shipping. Free on every order, worldwide. Estimated delivery is 12 to 17 business days: 7 to 10 to prepare your piece and 5 to 7 in transit. Orders placed after 5:00 PM PST are processed the next business day. Tracking is emailed within 1 to 2 business days of dispatch.

Changes. To change or cancel an order, email hello@burlholt.com within 6 hours of placing it.

Returns. Return an unused piece within 30 days of delivery, in its original condition and packaging with all hardware. We cover return shipping for items that are defective, damaged in transit or incorrect. Custom or personalized pieces cannot be returned. Approved refunds are processed within 2 business days of inspection.

About this piece

Two upright side panels carry the scalloped profile, each cut into a run of arches that repeat down the height. Four long shelves cross between them, open front and back. The lower third closes into a three door cabinet, and the doors show the strongest figure in the whole piece, swirling burl grain running door to door. Against a dark wall the wood reads amber where light hits the panel edges.

Panels, shelves and doors are all real solid wood, cut and finished at the bench. No veneer face, no printed burl. Because the piece is only started once you order, the swirl across your cabinet doors will not repeat on anyone else's unit. We photograph the work at each stage and hold off on the next step until you approve it.

Shipping is by parts. Side panels, shelves and cabinet doors travel in separate wrapped bundles, which protects the door faces and keeps the freight cost lower than one tall crate. Printed assembly instructions are packed inside, and email support covers anything the sheet leaves out. Free worldwide delivery with emailed tracking, and 30 days to send it back.
