About this piece

A long valley winds between carved ridges, and a pale moon rests above the far peaks. Amber and deep brown tones layer the landscape from foreground to horizon, and the top edge follows the skyline instead of a ruler.

It is carved from solid hardwood by hand, with deeper cuts in the foreground and lighter relief toward the distance to create perspective. A matte finish keeps the tones warm and natural. Made to order, it comes with workshop photos along the way.
